This illustrated guide presents the Hualien Tourist Sugar Factory, established during the Japanese colonial period. The sugar factory played a crucial role as a sugar production facility in the eastern region of Taiwan, and despite discontinuing sugar production, it has evolved into a renowned tourist attraction in Hualien, in the eastern part of Taiwan. The design uses illustrations to showcase the well-preserved Japanese-style architecture within the sugar factory, guiding visitors to each point of interest for a fulfilling exploration experience.
